This Directorate is responsible for, among others:

• Provision of strategic direction to the Department.

• Development, implementation and monitoring of the Service Delivery Improvement Plan (SDIP).

• Development of an effective and efficient corporate strategy system.

• Implementation and monitoring of the Balanced Scorecard.
