Umkhosi WeLembe is the commemoration of King Shaka, Ilembe eleq’ amanye amalembe ngokukhalipha (champion of champions); a great warrior.
On top of being part of culture development programmes undertaken by KwaZulu-Natal Department of Arts and Culture, Umkhosi WeLembe is part of Provincial Government’s support to the Zulu Royalty programmes.
